On Thursday 22 April 2021 UQ’s travel services provider, FCM Travel Solutions, will be launching their new travel booking technology:
- Savi - Online Booking Platform (replacing Serko)
- FCM HUB
- FCM Travel Platform Mobile App
What does this mean for UQ travellers and bookers?
- UQ travellers and bookers will be able to book approved domestic and international travel (to New Zealand only)* via Savi which will provide:
- An improved and intuitive booking experience, with the ability to self-book flights, accommodation, car hire and transfers.
- Increased accommodation content, including Bookings.com.
- Savi Select functionality - the ability to email multiple itinerary options to any traveller including external guests and contractors.
- The ability to book travel on behalf of any UQ traveller.
- A centralised form of payment for all travel bookings - no credit cards required.
- No booking fees.
- Travellers and bookers will be able to easily update and manage their travel profile information and preferences in the FCM HUB.
- Travellers will be able to access their future booking itineraries and receive important updates while travelling via the mobile app.

What do travellers and bookers need to do now:
- Log in to FCM HUB to review and update your mandatory travel profile information and membership preferences.
- Download the FCM Travel Platform Mobile App.
- Review the updated Booking Travel information on the UQ Travel website.
- Check your default chart string is correct in the Expense Management System (ProMaster). Contact your Finance transactional team for assistance.
- Stay updated on current UQ travel restrictions - UQ Travel COVID-19 FAQS.
- Register interest for online training if required (dates and details to be advised).
- Make approved travel bookings via Savi.
