Qantas have confirmed they have impacted by a cyber incident. Qantas assures they have taken immediate steps and contained the incident and confirmed all Qantas systems remain secure, and that there will be no disruption to bookings and operations.
Qantas confirmed the data breach includes some customers:
Names
Email addresses
Phone numbers
Dates of birth
Frequent flyer numbers
Qantas have advised the following information was not breached - credit card details, personal financial information or passport details are not held in this system. No Qantas Frequent Flyer accounts, passwords, PIN numbers or log in details been compromised.
