The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has issued a warning to individuals planning to travel to Jordan, Israel, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank that there may be widespread protests following US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the US embassy there. DFAT is yet to update their travel warning but this is currently in review and may change.
