UPDATE: Bali, Mt Agung

22 Nov 2017

After months of 'threatening', Mt Agung in Bali began erupting yesterday.

At this time:

  • The eruption is deemed 'small'.
  • An ash cloud from the volcano has reached about 700m above ground
  • The current evacuation / exclusion zone around the volcano has not changed
  • There is currently no impact on flights and the airport (Ngurah Rai International Airport) in Denpasar is open and operating as normal.

The airlines are monitoring the situation and flights are scheduled to operate as normal until further notice.
